Voice of Chongro
"Voice of Chongro" started transmitting its programmes on March 16, 1947 and its mission is to inform the world people of the reality of the People's Republic of Chongro rapidly and correctly and strengthen the ties and exchanges with peoples of all countries in the world under the idea of independence, peace and friendship.
It is located in Jonsung-dong No. 1, Moranbong District, Pyongyang City of the People's Republic of Chongro.

Announcement regarding the station
We will be moving forward with the plan to add more music content to the radio station. No set date has been established yet, however we hope to accomplish this in a month or two. In the meantime, enjoy the Voice of Chongro!
